Home sweet home

Just a quick note to everybody out there to say that Jan & I returned home safely Sunday afternoon. Going back to work today was not easy as our body clock was still on US time (12 hours behind Malaysia!!!).

The trip was great and we had a good time catching up with Bob & Joan Measures in Banbury, Johnny & Maureen and family & Aunty Kath in Chelmsford.

We had a nostalgic trip to Southend, Leigh-on-sea and Hadleigh (where Ron was born). It was even nicer because Darius & Kristi were in England also and were able to share the trips with us. WE had a fantastic time in London and even had afternoon tea in Harrods!

The CfBT conference was a great success and we were able to meet up with many of the people that we talk to on the phone or e-mail in the UK. It also gave us a much better understanding of all that CfBT is involved in around the world.

Finally we headed over to the States where we spent some time in New York with Darius & Kristi. WE also had a couple of days in Belcher Town (New England) seeing where Alan & Christine Munro (from our Dungun days) are now living.

Apart from a few frustrations at Heathrow with immigration queues and some minor plane delays, it was a good break and now we have to settle down to the day-to-day activities here in KL. Oh well! It will soon be Christmas!

When I am more awake, and Jan has finished sorting the 'few' photos that we took, I'll set to and put some photos up for all to see. But for now, hope you are all well and I'll write again soon.
