New additions to the family.

Jan & I are happy to announce the arrival of 4 new members to our family here in the UAE.

Yesterday afternoon, while we were doing some last minute shopping in Dubai, our laundry basket became a delivery room. Sheba kept knocking the basket over and I kept standing it up again all morning. In the end I gave up. She knew she was about to give birth and where she wanted to have the kittens.

Luckily, the security guard from the college is going to look after our villa while we are away and he was introduced to Sheba on Wednesday. Also the lady we got her from isn't going away for a while so she will also pop in and check on them all for the first few weeks.

They are cute, but I'm afraid they're too young for me to bring down for anybody who would like a new cat. We'll probably keep one, but find homes for the others when we get back.

On another note, the graduation went well last Monday and I've posted a few pictures of the proceedings in the Photo Albums as well as a few on the slideshow (I thought the camels had been up there long enough).

We've got suitcases on the bed behind me and Jan's done some last minute washing, so I think we should be ready to go at 3PM tomorrow when the college driver comes to pick us. At least I hope we will be!
