Not a lot to report really. The last two weeks have slipped by and have been pretty uneventful. Last week it was St Pat's day and the local sailing club had a dinner in honour of the man on Thursday (the beginning of our weekend). There was Irish stew, which was of course full of lovely tatties, boiled red cabbage and mashed potatoes and sausages. There was ample fluid to wash it all down with and even some green vodka shots! A very pleasant night it was.
The semester is progressing, a little too quickly as there is so much work to get through. It's week 8 tomorrow and then we have mid-semester exams the following week. So lots of exam practice this week.
Darius, Kristi & Luke arrive in Dubai on Monday, on their way back to Sydney, and we plan to catch up with them Tuesday evening and bring them back to RAK for a few days. We're even planninmg a trip to Abu Dhabi next weekend and a visit to the Hilton jazz club as a bit of a combined birthday celebration.
I'm sure there will be a lot more to tell after then and I'm sure that there will be lots of photos to share. So look out for another smile box!
