Watched the Johnny Cash movie 'Walk the Line' last night, hence the line in the title (OK, for those of you who are not familiar with his songs you'll just have to look it up on Google). Jan & I thought it was really good and fingers crossed for the Oscars.
I have had a fairly busy week visiting lots of schools in preparation for training after the holidays. It's surprising how much need there is for English in a big city like Kuala Lumpur even though you'd think there wouldn't be. So a challenging year ahead!
Jan was away again this week at a zone meeting in Langkawi and managed to bring back some duty free gin. Next week we both get to go to the central/south zone meeting together in Melaka. So a welcome break.
We've just had a nice couple of hours on the phone talking to various members of the family. Isn't Skype wonderful? Unfortunately we found out that Nanny & Grandpa haven't been very well and in fact Nanny was in hospital. Grandpa gave us Nanny's room phone number so we were able to give her a call in hospital. We had a good chat and a few laughs and although she's hoping to go home tomorrow, I think she'll have to stay in hospital longer now to get her blood pressure down! She had a few stories to tell which I'm not allowed to write about here.
Sean and Leanne and the twins are going well and in fact they're looking at changing the car seats because the girls have grown so much! And they're sleeping better at night now. Which of course means mum & dad get more time to relax.
So another week starts tomorrow. I hope all who read this have a good one and I look forward to any comments that you might have and to reading the blogs of others.

Guess who? Can any of the family members guess who these people are? No prizes but comments welcome!
