First of all I'd like to thank you all for the birthday wishes on the occassion of my (Ron's) 58th birthday. We had a really nice day which started off with Jan giving me a portable MP3 player (not an i-Pod which are grossly over-taxed here) but something very similar and which works and sounds really good. I now get to chill out at lunchtimes a bit rather than just get straight back to work because there's nothing else to do as my office is not near any shops. We then went to Stephen and Su Kim's for lunch where they insisted on cooking some very nice Chinese food for me (Stephen is, as some of you may know, the In Service Teacher Trainer Manager for CfBT and is in effect my day-to-day boss). Jan had made a chocolate pavlova with fresh raspberries as a birthday cake. Lunch didn't finish till quite late!
