It's probably news to some of you, and others will ask why? But the fact of the matter is that if we want to 'go a wandering' as we get older, then we gotta get fitter!! So, the two of us have joined Fitness First, with a personal trainer, and now head to the gym three times a week after work instead of just flopping in a chair with a beer (or wine). Weight loss is also an issue, as the male member of the Two put on 4kg over the Christmas holidays in Oz! As for the female member, I'm not allowed to say, but she's looking forward to a new wardrobe I hear!

Now this may seem a little strange after my first paragraph, but one of the English Language Coordinators in our team is leaving for New Zealand today so we had a bot of a leaving 'do' for her last night. Which of course involved a few drinks and some rather tasty food. We went to the top floor of a
hotel in KL which has a roof-top swimming pool which is turned into a night club in the evening. Great views of the city too. The recliners go and tables and benches take their place.

It was a fairly late night and I suspect we will have to spend a bit of time working it off later today (and tomorrow, and the next day ....).
Anybody who comes to visit this year will most definitely get to go there I'm sure.
It's Saturday afternoon and I've just done my gardening (ie watered the plants on the balcony) and I'm looking forward to a quiet evening. Jan's out having her hair and nails 'done' after having been shopping. Tomorrow is my birthday and Jan has promised to make me a raspberry pavlova (I think I'll just have to camp out in the gym all next week)!
Once again, congratulations to Chris and Donna, Milly looks real cute.
Glad you're feeling better Laura and thanks to Randall for looking after you.
Darius, are you still alive??? Get that blog finger going son.
Sean and Leanne, if you get to read this, hope the 'garden party' goes well.
Will write again next week, so TTFN.

Truth is, life back home is a little less exciting than life in HK ... I will update the site with the drearyness of work and study though for those of you with a need to know!
