It's been a while I know!

No I'm not going to make any excuses. I'll just get straight on to it.

Darius, for getting what he's wanted for a long time. A job in The Big Apple!!!!!!

Laura & Randall for biting the bullet and moving in together. Hope all goes well.
Laura for changing jobs to somewhere where she hopes it won't be a waste of time. And she has a little more disposable income.

Jasmine & Tamika for being able to at last get into all those cupboards and things that they've been dying to get into for a while.


Jan for successfully organising the recent National PET workshop here in KL. It had lots of positive feedback and a good time was had by all. Even though the PETs were off the leash for a while I'm happy to report that nobody ran amok and all made it back home safely!



We had a pleasant surprise last weekend when Jan & Brian rang to ask if it would be OK if they came to stay earlier than expected (they were not due for a couple of weeks yet). Unfortunately, due to the worsening political situation in Sri Lanka, the last leg of their trip was cancelled (they had just had three weeks in India). We were delighted as we were going to be off most of the week because it was Hari Raya (the end of the Muslim fasting month). We had a great week with them: talked and ate lots!!
They did get to do a few things that they hadn't done before, such as visit the Batu Caves, the French themed resort at Bukit Tinggi, and ride on the 3.4 KM cable car to the Genting Highlands.

We were sad to see them go Friday evening but I'm happy to say that they made it back to OZ safe and sound although not too happy at the prospect of going back to work. Start saving again Jan & Brian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are now looking forward to our next visitor due early December: Nanny!! Yeah!!! Back for her fourth trip. She will be staying for Christmas (would somebody please let Santa know).

Well, I think that's enough for now. I'll try not to leave it so long before the next post.
