Well that time went pretty quickly! It seems like only yesterday that we were talking about going to KL and here we are back again and talking about what we did.
We did have a good time though and managed to catch up with quite a few people: but sadly not everybody that we would have liked to. The condo is still in one piece, thanks to our very kind neighbours Eddy & Jenny. We even managed to sort out a few more clothes and things that we just didn't have time to do before. Had a few rotis for breakfast, coffee at Friendster (where we could also check e-mails for free) and we had dinner one night at our favourite KL restaurant, Telawi Street Bistro (check out the write up and photos: we had the Lebanese lamb pocket and Jan had the Chocolate volcano for desert). The city was very quiet as it was Chinese New Year last week and many people had headed out of the city to their respective home towns.
And of course, not to forget the birth of our 5th grandchild, Angus Dean Coveney, born on the 19th of January. For those of you who have Facebook accounts you can check out photos from the proud parents, Sean and Leanne, or you can check Jan's revamped Mac website complete with a new address.
Flights on Singapore Airlines were as good as always and we were home last night (Thursday) by 8PM. Unfortunately our #2 cat, Pushkin, had some kind of an accident while we were away and is limping around on three legs. He doesn't seem to be in pain but the vet is calling in later today or tomorrow morning to give him the once over.
