This weekend was a long week end for us here in the UAE to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet Mohammed. Some people took the opportunity to get away for a few days R&R camping, but Jan & I went to Dubai and stayed in a nice hotel. We then visited some places that we just haven't got around to seeing yet and a couple of places that we wanted to revisit. As I write this, Jan is putting the next SmileBox of the week end's events together so I'll let her pictures tell the story. The weather was fantastic! Not too hot, but lovely and sunny. Just right for pictures. We had some interesting meals, ranging from a scrumptious Mexican buffet at the hotel on the first night, to a chicken schwarma sandwhich at a little corner cafe last night. Both very tasty but both quite different!

Well it's week six starting tomorrow, so I'd better get the class web pages written up and think about what we're going to have for tea tonight. Might just be a cheese toasty tonight I think!
