From Stockholm we took a fast train to Copenhagen and dad was in seventh heaven when he found out he could do a tour of the Carlsberg factory. We were also there at the time of the Copenhagen Mardi Gras so got caught up in a parade through the city square. We went to see the changing of the guard at the Palace and as we were trying to have our photo taken with him he just kept saying, "Don't get too close", "don't get too close". Hence the rather distant photo.
We did a canal tour and saw the world's highest carousel at the old Tivoli Theatre Amusement Park. Sean & Leanne I think you should get one of these bicycles for the twins. They were really common here as everyone rides bikes and it's just a carriage in the front. I'm sure the girls would love it!! The elephant gate was at the Carlsberg Brewery sight and was an arch across a roadway.
